Jagran correspondent, Noida. Due to the negligence of PVVNL (Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited), the electricity bill of Rs 222 crore reached the consumer. There was an outstanding electricity bill for seven months on a 25 KW connection in a 1000 square meter plot.
The consumer was shocked to see the huge bill. Chipiana Khurd (Tigri) resident Vipin Yadav said that the bill for his commercial connection for seven months was Rs 222 crore. As soon as he saw the bill, Vipin went straight to the Electricity Corporation. It is alleged that he was not heard there.
Vipin Yadav has a 1000 meter plot in Tigri. Here he has taken a 25 kilowatt commercial charging connection. Pay bills every month. He told that when he reached the camp near his house, when he got his electricity bill checked, it came to light that about Rs 222 crore was outstanding. However, when an attempt was made to download the electricity bill, the bill for the month of May is being downloaded.
After this, he talked to the concerned officer at the Iteda substation in this regard but no solution could be found. The corporation has given assurance of making improvements after showing the bill. After this he met Gajay Thakur, National President of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Gajay). From where he has received assurance to raise his voice on the matter.
At the same time, Executive Engineer of Electricity Corporation, Shivam Tripathi said that this bill can be generated due to technical problem on the system. It does not reach the consumer. There is a hold on the system itself. Only the correct bill will reach the consumer.
