Electrician repairing electrical fault.
Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. There was power cut in more than 10 areas due to fault due to drizzle in Trans Hindon on Tuesday. Due to this the people of these areas had to face problems. In some places the power supply has been stalled for five hours and in some places for eight hours.
Electricity was cut in DLF Ankur Vihar, Loni at around 9:30 am. When the local people complained to the Electricity Corporation officials, they pointed out the fault in the insulator. After this, electricity supply became normal at around 2 o'clock.
Local resident Azad said that there was power failure for about five hours. Even after this the coming and going continued. Apart from this, there was power failure in Shaheed Nagar for about eight hours. Without electricity people could not store water. Due to this, school children and working people suffered the most.
Local resident Siraj said that even a little drizzle causes power cuts. On complaining the officers point out the fault. At the same time, there was power failure in Tronica City for about five hours. This also caused problems to entrepreneurs.
Tripping continued in these areas
There was intermittent electricity supply in Niti Block-2 and 3, Vasundhara Sector-5, 9 and Vaishali Sector-3 of Indirapuram. People were afraid of the equipment blowing due to tripping. In these areas, electricity was cut for three to four hours a day.
Due to light rain, complaints of fault were received in some areas. The team of Electricity Corporation was busy in repairing the fault. Now supply to all areas is normal.
