Due to active western disturbance and cyclonic circulation over Pakistan and Rajasthan, severe warning of thunderstorm, strong wind and hailstorm has been issued in many parts of the state. Orange alert has been issued for many districts.
A cyclonic circulation is persisting in the middle troposphere near northern Pakistan. Due to its effect, moisture-rich air coming from the Arabian Sea is entering Uttar Pradesh through Punjab and Rajasthan. Due to this mutual conflict of winds, favorable conditions for rain and hailstorm have been created.
