Jagran correspondent, Almora. Intermittent rain is continuing in the district headquarters and surrounding areas since Tuesday afternoon. Due to this, it is extremely cold in the mountains. Binsar and other high altitude areas of the district received the second snowfall of the season.
On the other hand, Almora Haldwani Highway is closed since morning for heavy vehicles due to excessive mud in Qarab. Only small vehicles are moving on this route. Electricity supply has come to a standstill in Dhaula Devi area since late Tuesday night. The maximum temperature of Almora has been recorded at 14 and the minimum temperature has been recorded at 2 degrees Celsius.
