There is an atmosphere of fear among the villagers after the incident. People were forced to stay awake all night to somehow save their lives. As soon as they heard the sound of the elephant, people were seen leaving their homes and running towards safe places. The villagers have demanded the forest department to drive the elephant towards the forest and compensate the affected families.

It is being told that the movement of elephants in the area is continuously increasing, but no concrete arrangements have been made till now. If elephant menace is not eradicated soon, villagers may have to suffer huge loss of life and property. The forest department team has been informed and the movements of the elephant are being monitored.
