Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. A one-day employment fair will be organized by the Regional Employment Office and Government Industrial Training Institute ITI, Chargaon on 21 January 2026. Private sector companies will participate in this. Genus Private Limited will recruit 300 vacant posts of electricity meter reader.
Along with this, the selection process for the posts of Bima Sakhi will also be completed by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Selected Bima Sakhis will also be provided a fixed honorarium by LIC.

In this, male and female candidates in the age group of 18 to 45 years, whose educational qualification ranges from high school to graduation (technical and non-technical), can participate. The entire process of the employment fair will be free.
The Deputy Director said that to participate in the fair, it is necessary to register on the employment department's web portal rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in. Through this, candidates will be able to apply in the concerned company.
All candidates will have to present educational qualification certificate and bio-data during the interview. The Deputy Director has said that no traveling allowance will be given for attending the fair.
There are preparations to organize a large employment fair at the end of January. Information regarding the fixed place and date will be given to the candidates soon.
