Samvad Sutra, Jagran Auraiya. The dog which had bitten two people, including a student, in Samayan village of Airvakatra on Saturday afternoon, was killed by the villagers on Sunday. There was anger and fear among the people regarding the incident. He said that the administration or civic bodies have no arrangements to catch dogs and monkeys. Incidents are happening every day. In October 2025, a child has died in Ruruganj area.
14-year-old Shweta, daughter of Satendra Kumar, resident of village Samayan, was returning home from school on Saturday afternoon. After buying household items from a shop on the way, as soon as she reached in front of the house of village resident Mansharam, a stray dog attacked her.
When the student screamed for help, nearby people arrived and chased the dog away, but by then the dog had seriously injured the student by biting her on the head. The skin above the lip was cut and removed. When the dog was somehow chased away, it also attacked 30-year-old Manish Kumar of the same village, causing serious injuries on his body.
Even after Sunday afternoon, when no team reached the area to catch the dogs, the anger of the people increased further. When they saw the dog, they killed it by beating it with sticks. Villagers said that more than six people together killed the dog. Whereas till now no one responsible has reached the spot. Perhaps another incident is being awaited.
