State Bureau, Lucknow. The second semester examination for the academic session 2025-26 will be held between January 24 and January 31 in council and recognized schools run by the Basic Education Council. The Director of Basic Education has issued instructions to all the District Basic Education Officers of the state. The examination will be conducted at the school level. Question papers will be set by the headmaster or headmaster in-charge.
The question papers will be prepared on the basis of class-wise monthly syllabus division and questions will be asked only from the syllabus taught till December 2025. The answer sheets will be evaluated by the concerned class teacher or subject teacher.
All records related to sessional examination and evaluation will be kept safe at the school level. The necessary expenditure on organizing the examination will be borne by the composite grant received by the school. After the examination, the educational progress of the children will be shared with the parents. Weak children will be identified and preparations will be made again.
