Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. Under the SIR campaign, the process of sending notices to no-mapping voters is now underway. All nomapping voters have to respond to the notice on different dates. The family members of the elderly, sick and voters who are away from home can also respond to their notices.
Reach the reply notice with required documents
Deputy District Election Officer and ADM Administration Pooja Mishra said that by February 27, the process of notice to no-mapping voters, hearing and decision on it will be over. Voters who have received notice for hearing should appear before the AERO or ERO with necessary documents.
Appear before AERO or ERO
Notices have been sent to the voters to whom mapping could not be done due to their own name and names of relatives (mother, father, grandfather, grandmother) not being there in the voter list of the year 2003 and due to lack of mapping, notices have been sent for verification of documents. In these, the relatives of the elderly, sick and people who have gone out of the house for some time can submit their reply to the notice before the concerned AERO or ERO on the day of hearing.
Notice to two lakhs, reply to 900, hearing expedited
The process of rapidly sending notices to voters with no mapping has been started. Notices will be sent to a total of 10.62 lakh voters. Till now, notices have been sent to about two lakh no-mapping voters, due to which responses have been received from around 900 voters. Its hearing has also intensified now.
