State Bureau, Shimla. If the Himachal government does not stop wasteful expenditure, then there is sure to be a crisis in the salaries, allowances, pension, GPF, development and other plan and non-plan works of the employees in the coming times. There should be a sense of responsibility along with authority. Stop wasteful expenditure and take concrete decisions, only then the economic crisis will be resolved. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said this during the resolution brought by the government in the Assembly regarding Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG). He said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is talking about making Himachal self-reliant in 2027 and the most prosperous state of the country in 2032, so in the event of such an economic crisis, he should apply that formula and use that Brahmastra.

If you have hair on your head...

Jairam Thakur told CM Sukhu that if there is hair on the head, it does not mean that one is not old. Now act thoughtfully. You don't listen to anyone, you are just running the government like student politics. On this Sukhu said that if hair has grown on my head then what is my fault, your hair has grown because you did not worry.

He advised the Chief Minister to immediately consider the appointments given to his friends in the government. Said that the opposition cannot be forced to accept whatever he says. Jairam said that when it was known that the financial situation was not good then why imposed CPS? Not only this, about 90 advocates general and assistants were appointed.

Cursing BJP will not improve the economy

Cursing Modi, Jairam and BJP will not improve the economic situation. Whenever there were Congress governments at the Centre, Himachal was ignored. In the past, our government advocated better and brought Rs 56 thousand crore in RDG and provided drinking water to eight lakh houses along the roads. Spent on development works, not wastefully. The tradition of taking loans was first started in the state in 1993. In our times very little loan has been taken whereas in the past more was taken. When RDG was not closed, were the dues of the employees paid? He cornered the government even outside the Assembly on this issue.
