Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority will issue advertisement for plot allotment. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Apart from industries, there is an opportunity to establish schools and colleges in GIDA (Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority) area. GIDA administration is preparing to allot 139 new plots to promote industrial, residential and institutional activities.
After a long time, there is a plan to invite applications for two institutional plots. Apart from this, in this time's allotment, there is a possibility of allotment of plots to more than 25 micro, small and medium (MSME) category industries. Apart from this, the process of allotment of 96 flats for the economically weaker section will also start.
According to GIDA's plan, industrial plots will be allotted in developed sectors 13, 15, 26, 27 and 28 along Bhiti Rawat, Link Expressway and Kalesar to Sahjanwa Road. Basic facilities have been developed in these areas, which will facilitate the industries to start production soon. GIDA has so far received applications from more than 25 entrepreneurs from MSME category.
These include food processing units, packed water bottling plants, small manufacturing units and other service based industries. Establishment of these industries will increase production at the local level and Gorakhpur will emerge in a stronger position on the industrial map. With the arrival of small and medium industries, the supply chain will develop and activities in supporting sectors like transportation, packaging, maintenance and logistics will also increase.

Residential and educational plots will also be allotted. Along with industrial development, GIDA is also strengthening residential facilities. Residential plots of various categories will be provided under Kalesar Scheme (Sector-11). Apart from this, the allotment of a total of 96 LIG flats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will also start soon.
In this process of allotment, two plots have been reserved for schools and colleges in Sector-9 and Sector-11, one of which is of one acre and the other of five acres. With the establishment of educational institutions, employees working in the industrial sector and local families will be able to get better educational facilities.
Advertisement is being issued by the authority for about 140 plots. After a long time, two institutional plots will also be allotted. Plots have been reserved for this in Sectors 9 and 11.
