10 years imprisonment to the accused of raping a girl after entering her house in Faridabad.
Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. The court of Additional Sessions Judge Jyoti Lamba has sentenced the man guilty of raping a girl after entering her house to 10 years in jail. A fine of Rs 90 thousand has also been imposed on the culprit.
Chief Defense Counsel Ravinder Gupta said that this case was registered on 20 November 2021 at SGM Nagar police station on the complaint of the girl. The girl had told in the complaint that on Instagram she had identified herself with Wasim, who lives near NIT 3 DAV College. He used to meet the girl while going to school. They started talking and became friends.
On the night of 18 November 2021, Wasim entered their house by jumping over the wall. At that time the rest of the family members had gone to visit relatives. The girl and her mother were alone at home. The girl's mother was sleeping in the other room.
Wasim entered the girl's room and raped her by pressing her mouth. When the girl raised an alarm, the girl's mother came. The accused pushed him and ran away. When the remaining family members returned, a complaint was lodged with the police and a case was registered. Since then the case was pending in the court.
