Jagran correspondent, Muradnagar. The car collided with a divider late Friday night near village Milk Chakarpur in Muradnagar police station area on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The young man in the car died in the accident. While two were injured. The accident occurred due to low visibility in fog. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. The injured are undergoing treatment.
These days there is severe fog during night and morning. Vehicles are not visible even at some distance on the expressway. This is the reason why accidents have increased. Late on Friday night, Sohrab of Rasoolpur in Rampur district was passing through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway by car. His two companions were also in the car.
Divider not visible in fog and car collides
Meanwhile, when they reached near Milk Chakarpur village in Muradnagar police station area, the divider was not visible in the fog and the car collided. The collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. On receiving information, the expressway patrolling team reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared Sohrab dead.
The two accomplices have not been identified yet. His condition in the hospital is critical. At the same time, after the accident, a jam situation started due to the car coming on the road. The patrolling team removed the car from the road with the help of a crane and normalized the traffic.
