Fight For Train Tickets On Holi, Waiting Tickets Not Available In Rapti Ganga And Kumbh Express.

Jagran correspondent, Haridwar. If you are thinking of going home on the festival of colors Holi, then you may have to be disappointed for a single confirmed ticket in regular trains. There is a fight for a limited number of confirmed tickets in trains going towards Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Now even waiting tickets are not being issued in Kumbh Express going to Patna Howrah and Raptiganga Express going to Muzaffarpur on the dates around Holi. The public reservation system is showing regret.

A large number of people from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar live in Haridwar and surrounding areas. Who work in industrial units of Sidcul, Bahadarabad, Bhagwanpur. Most of them go to their homes on Holi, the festival of colors.

Trains going towards Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh are already full on the dates around the festival. There is long waiting time in most of the trains.

There is a situation of no room in sleeper class in Doon-Muzaffarpur on 28th February. Waiting tickets are also not being issued. More or less the situation is the same in trains on Howrah route also. There is a situation of no room in sleeper class in Doon-Howrah via Patna Kumbh Express from 26th to 27th February.

Reservation status in some major trains
