Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. The gang of criminals who committed robbery in the house of rice miller Mohammad Rihan is from Pilibhit. The investigation so far has revealed that apart from Pilibhit, this gang also commits robberies in nearby districts. The house where the robbery took place is searched at least a week in advance. After this the incident is carried out. Names of many people have come to light during police interrogation. Police say that two teams are busy searching for the miscreants. He will be arrested soon.
Mohammad Rihan Ahmed, resident of Dhauratanda, runs United Rice Mill. He has built a house on Miyanpur Road outside the town. According to the relatives, the miscreants entered their house at 2 o'clock on Thursday night by cutting the lock of the main door. After holding his father Akil and mother hostage at gunpoint, other relatives were woken up from their sleep and attacked.
The miscreants looted six tola gold jewellery, silver jewelery and cash. After this, all the miscreants were running away, when one of the miscreants fell from a roof. When the family members caught the miscreant, his associates fired for about 20 minutes to free him, but even after this the family members did not leave him and started pelting stones at the miscreants.
Somehow the miscreants, who ran away to save their lives, did not return. The villagers handed over the miscreant to the police in an injured condition. The criminal caught during police interrogation revealed his name as Nanhepal alias Reetram, resident of Deoriakala, Pilibhit. At the same time, as soon as information about the incident was received, SSP Anurag Arya formed two teams and registered an FIR on the basis of the complaint letter.
A police team is busy identifying the miscreants from CCTV footage. When the police interrogated the criminal, he revealed many secrets. The investigation so far has revealed that there are many miscreants in this gang. Most are residents of Pilibhit. Five to six cases of robbery are registered against many members of the gang. Police say that soon all the miscreants will be arrested.
CCTV footage surfaced, three miscreants visible
When the police checked the CCTV installed in the village, they found that three miscreants were clearly visible in it. When the local people saw them entering, they also raised an alarm. After which everyone ran away. In the second CCTV camera, all the miscreants are seen running away.
The investigation so far has revealed that the gang is from Pilibhit and has committed several incidents of robbery in the past also. Many clues have been found and the incident will soon be exposed.
