Jagran correspondent, Firozabad. Police have arrested two robbers in an encounter near Nihal's culvert at 1 o'clock on Friday night. A pistol, cartridges, an auto without number plate and stolen rupees 10,200 were recovered from the possession of the miscreants who were injured by being shot in the leg. The injured have been admitted to the Government Trauma Center for treatment.

SP City Ravi Shankar Prasad said that information was received at 1 o'clock on Friday night that two robbers were standing in an auto without number plate near Nihal Singh Pulia Bypass. They are planning to commit some crime. When the team under the leadership of Inspector Anil Singh laid siege, the miscreants opened fire. Both of them were shot in the legs and injured in police firing.
Wanted in case of theft that took place on September 8
During the search, a pistol, cartridges and Rs 10,020 were recovered from them. The injured miscreants were identified as Ravi alias Raviya and Kitab Singh, residents of Hindu Nagar slum, police station Kotwali city, Etah. The arrested accused were being searched in connection with the theft incident that took place in Tundla on September 8, 2025.
Cases are registered against the accused
The arrested accused Ravi alias Raviya already has 13 cases registered against him in various police stations of Etah, Aligarh, Hathras and Kasganj. Whereas three cases have already been registered against Kitab Singh in Etah and Agra.
