Digital Desk, New Delhi. Mumbai Police has arrested an actor for raping a maid for 10 years after promising her marriage.
According to the police, based on the complaint of a 41-year-old woman, Nadeem Khan, who was recently seen in the blockbuster film Dhurandhar, was arrested on January 22. At present he is in police custody.
Raped for 10 years with promise of marriage
According to the complaint, the woman used to work as a domestic help for different actors and had come in contact with Khan years ago and the two had become close. The officer said that the woman alleged that Khan had promised to marry her and on this trust, he raped her several times for 10 years at his house in Malwani and his house in Versova.
However, later he refused to marry, after which the woman lodged a complaint with the Versova police.
Rape case registered against actor Nadeem Khan
The officer said that the alleged rape took place for the first time at the complainant's house which falls under the jurisdiction of Malwani police and the victim lives in the same area, hence the Versova police has transferred the case to zero FIR.
Let us tell you that actor Nadeem Khan was last seen in Ranveer Singh starter Dhurandhar.
