Jagran Team, Sitapur. Due to fog, road accidents occurred at different places on Tuesday. The pickup hit the bike in Misrikh. The young man died in this. Meanwhile, five were injured when a car collided with a truck in Sandana. It is being told that the injured are being treated in a private hospital. Police have been able to find out the names of only two injured. Misrikh: Ramchandra of Qutub Nagar used to work at the hotel. He went to Misrikh on Tuesday. While returning, a pickup hit his bike near Darogapur village. After this the driver ran away with the pickup. The villagers took Ramchandra to the Community Health Center Misrikh, where he was declared dead. Kotwal Pradeep Kumar Singh said that CC footage is being scrutinized to search for the driver and vehicle.
In another accident, a car collided with a truck near Kasba on Sidhauli road. The driver left the truck and ran away. Five people including Ayush Tiwari of village Malpur Saini in Sultanpur district and Darshanlal of Sunderbani in Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir were injured in the accident. There are two women in it.
Police station incharge Arvind Katiyar said that the incident happened at 5 am on Tuesday. The injured had already gone to the hospital before reaching the spot. Therefore, the names of only two people could be known. The truck has been taken into custody. The driver is being searched.

Take these precautions while driving in fog. Traffic Inspector Farid Ahmed said that visibility reduces greatly in dense fog. Therefore one should drive very carefully. Speed should be controlled. Low beam lights and fog lamps should be used. Overtaking efforts should be reduced. Vehicles are required with the support of white and yellow stripes. Appropriate distance should be maintained from the vehicle moving ahead. In case of very dense fog, one should stay at a dhaba or hotel and wait for the weather to clear.
