Jagran correspondent, Ranikhet. The incidents of forest fire are not stopping in the hilly areas. Smoke pollution continued to increase. After the burning of Ududa forest in Almora yesterday, now the forest area of Kathpudiya on Ranikhet Highway has come under fire.
Local people informed the forest department and fire brigade. Late night, due to strong wind, the flames took a huge form and started moving towards the GIC campus. The fire brigade personnel brought the flames under control after a lot of effort.
