Former District Panchayat Member Arrested For Liquor Smuggling In Bijnor, Furnace Found Burning In The House, 40 Liters Recovered

During the raid in his area, the police found a furnace burning. 40 liters of raw liquor and 500 liters of liquor were recovered from the spot. A case was registered against the accused and he was granted bail from the police station. The son of the accused is being searched.

City Kotwali police raided the area of ​​former Panchayat member Asaram Saini, resident of village Jehanabad, on Tuesday night. During the raid, the police found a burning furnace of raw liquor on the spot. Police caught Asaram.

Lahan was destroyed on the spot. Brewing equipment and furnaces were destroyed. During this time, Asaram's son Pradeep escaped after getting the opportunity. On the complaint of Ganj outpost incharge Rohitash Kumar, a case was registered against Asharam and Pradeep under the Excise Act. Asaram has been a District Panchayat member from 2010 to 2015. He won the election as an independent candidate. CO City Sangram Singh said that the accused has been granted bail.
