Jagran correspondent, Deoria. The health of former IPS officer Amitabh Thakur, lodged in Deoria District Jail, suddenly deteriorated late on Tuesday night. He complained of severe chest pain and restlessness, after which the jail administration immediately took him to Deoria Medical College. After primary examination, seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Gorakhpur Medical College at 2 o'clock in the night.
According to sources, during the examination at Gorakhpur Medical College, doctors have expressed fear of heart attack to Amitabh Thakur.
