Bank fraud: Loan of Rs 11.03 lakh taken on fake documents, case registered against woman.

A case of taking agricultural loan worth lakhs of rupees on the basis of fake documents and false affidavit has come to light in Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank located in Mundhal Khurd. On the complaint of bank manager Mandeep, Sadar police station has registered a case of fraud against a woman.
The accused woman obtained a loan of Rs 11.03 lakh by keeping the bank in the dark. The woman had applied for loan under Kisan Credit Scheme on 18 September 2018. The copies of Jamabandi, Intkaal and Khasra Girdawari that he deposited in the bank were later found to be fake.
The woman claimed in the affidavit that she had no outstanding dues, whereas as per records, she had outstanding loans of Rs 7.32 lakh and Rs 3.30 lakh from another bank in Mundhal since August 9, 2016.

Due to the cleverness of the woman, the bank sanctioned a total of Rs 11 lakh 3 thousand, which included.
Rs 8.03 Lakh: Kisan Credit Card Loan. Rs 1.00 Lakh: Debit Swap Facility Loan. Rs 2.00 Lakh: Combo Loan.
The woman presented a mortgage deed registry in the name of the bank from the sub-registrar office on September 21, 2018. On September 25, Khewat gave the deposit for the year 2012-13, on which a loan of Rs 11.03 lakh was shown in red ink.
Departmental investigation revealed that this fraud was done by hiding old liabilities. Sadar police station is now checking the authenticity of the documents and registry so that other people involved can be traced.
