In the village of Kankarkheda police station area, a student committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance after not getting the braces (dental wires) removed from his teeth. The police reached the spot after getting information about the matter and sent the body of the student to the mortuary.
According to police, 19-year-old Karthik was studying in BA. Karthik's teeth were somewhat protruding. Due to which the relative had got braces fitted in his teeth. Friends started making fun of Kartik for getting braces.
On Wednesday evening, Karthik asked his relatives to get the braces removed. On which his relative scolded him. Angered by this, the student brought poisonous substance from a shop and swallowed it. When his condition worsened, his relatives immediately took him to the hospital.
Where the student died during treatment. Police station in-charge Vinay Kumar Singh said that the body has been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem. Investigation has revealed that the student had swallowed the poisonous substance due to a family dispute. Due to which he died.
Girl sexually harassed, threatened with murder
Jagran correspondent, Meerut. The girl, resident of Kankarkheda police station area, told that four years ago she had gone to her aunt's house in a village of Rohta police station area. Here he met a young man resident of Singhawali village. During this time the young man had taken her mobile number and a conversation started between them.
One day, the accused called her to Modipuram hotel, made her drink cold drink laced with intoxicants, raped her and made a video. After this, the accused started sexually harassing her by threatening to broadcast the video. Meanwhile she also became pregnant.
She was forced to have an abortion by giving her medicine. Now the accused is refusing to marry and is threatening to kill if she tells anyone. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada has ordered the police station in-charge to investigate and take action.
