No major announcement has been made for the farmers in the budget of Yogi government, but it has been announced to open a seed park as a special facility for agricultural products which can prove beneficial for the farmers. Seeds will be available at reasonable rates. Export agriculture hubs will be created in the state, in which agricultural products will be produced and exports will be encouraged.
The government has laid special emphasis on cultivation of cash crop sugarcane and timely payment of sugarcane price from sugar mills. In the current crushing season, payment is being received from sugar mills in 15 days. Sugarcane was cultivated in an area of 1,10,408 hectares in the district two years ago, this year this area has been less than one lakh hectares.
Due to increase in sugarcane price by Rs 30 per quintal and timely payment from sugar mills, it is expected that the area under sugarcane will increase next year. Shirish Gupta, divisional president of Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Board, said that special facilities have been given for agricultural products in the budget. With the opening of the Seed Park, seeds will be available to farmers at concessional rates.
With the start of commercial use of agricultural products at the local level, the income of farmers will increase rapidly. In Dadlai property which will be easily registered in the registry.
