New Bihar will be seen in the tableaus of 12 departments

Jagran correspondent, Patna. On Republic Day, Gandhi Maidan in Patna will not just be a venue for the parade but will also become a living exhibition of Bihar's development, women empowerment and social change. 12 departments of the state government will present their respective schemes and achievements through tableaux, through which common people will be able to directly see the picture of 'New Bihar'.

Focus on women empowerment and social change

Women power has been kept especially at the center in the tableaux. A strong picture of social change will be presented through topics like women bus drivers, self-reliance of Jeevika Didis, Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana and drug-free Bihar. The tableaus of Transport, Livelihood and Prohibition departments will strongly highlight this theme.

Confluence of culture and technology

The Art-Culture Department will tell the story of tradition and conservation, while the Energy Department will showcase future energy policy through the Kajra Solar Energy and Battery Storage Project. The tableau of the Tourism Department will have a glimpse of Punaura Dham, the birthplace of Mother Janaki, which will show the confluence of faith and tourism development.

Direct glimpse of development plans

The tableaux of agriculture, industry, education, cooperation and fire departments will highlight schemes like village prosperity, industrial development, safe schools, developed PACS and disaster management. Every tableau will tell a different story, but the message will be the same, developed Bihar, strong Bihar.

Strict monitoring and strict security arrangements

The administrative team is active 24×7 to monitor the entire event. A separate pandal is being prepared for the tableaux at Gandhi Maidan and the height will not be kept more than 15 feet. Anti-sabotage checking and rehearsal of all tableaux has been made mandatory. Strict guidelines have also been given regarding the age of the artists.

This time, along with the parade, the story of development will also be on stage in the Republic Day celebrations. The tableaux decorated at Gandhi Maidan will not just be a sight to behold, but will also be a glimpse of the present and future of Bihar – where tradition, progress and change will be seen together.
