Jagran correspondent, Deoria. Troubled by snatching and muggings, the police finally got success. A joint team of Bhaluani, Barhaj, Salempur and Khukhundu police conducted the raid. In which four accused who had committed many incidents were wanted for a long time. On the information of the informer, the police got success during vehicle checking in Bhaluani police station area.

All four accused admitted to carrying out several incidents. Cases are registered against him in many police stations. The police sent all four accused to jail on Sunday.

On Saturday evening, Bhaluani police station was checking vehicles in Bhaluani town when the informer informed about the arrival of two accused of molestation and snatching.

During vehicle checking, the police arrested Manish Dom, son of Manoj alias Nate and Krishna Dom, son of Jitendra Dom, residents of Purva Chauraha of Kotwali, near the mosque located on the road from Bhaluani to Karaundi.

The police recovered a total of ten thousand fifty rupees of snatching and snatching from both of them and a total of thirteen thousand five hundred rupees from their house.

On the trail of the arrested accused, the joint police team of police station Bhaluani, Barhaj, Salempur and Khukhundu arrested Rohit alias Timal, son of Guddu Kumar Dom and Jitendra, son of late, residents of Kanshiram residence of Kotwali area. Mahendra Dom was arrested near Kanshi Ram's residence and a total of eight thousand rupees were recovered from him.

The arresting team included Police Station Head Bhaluani Pradeep Kumar Pandey, Sub Inspector Jyoti, Sub Inspector Virendra Kumar, Constables Arvind Yadav, Vinod Yadav, Sub Inspector Barhaj Sarvesh Singh, Sub Inspector Salempur Kotwali Akhilesh Kumar, Sub Inspector Khukhundu Ashish Mishra.

This is how molestation and snatching are done

According to the police, the accused Manish Dom and Krishna Dom, along with their associates, tied bundles of currency notes in a cloth and dropped them in front of men and women in the towns of Bhaluani, Barhaj, Khukhundu and Salempur police station areas of the district. They even lift it in front of the same people.

By luring them to share the share, by confusing them with their words, they take off their worn duplicate chain or ring in front of the man or woman and say that the times are very bad and thieves will quickly snatch them away. The man and woman in front are made to remove the jewelery they are wearing and keep it in a paper.

At the same time, all the accused gather as per the previously made plan. After making noise amongst themselves and confusing everyone, the men and women exchange their jewelery and run away from the spot.

Incidents have been carried out at these places

The accused told the police that in October last year, they had snatched the woman's bag from near the Barhaj bus stand and ran away. In the month of November, after making a plan, an elderly man had come out near the Central Bank of Khukhundu town to withdraw money, after coaxing him, he dropped the bundle of notes and ran away with about 25 thousand rupees.

Similarly, on different dates, in the month of August, a woman's gold chain and fourteen hundred rupees were snatched from near the ATM of Punjab National Bank in Police Station Salempur Bazar and near Haraiya Tirahe along with two different women. A gold chain and two thousand rupees were stolen from a woman near Haraiya Tirahe.

On January 12, the accused dropped a bundle of paper tied in a handkerchief in front of a woman in Bhaluani market, lured the woman into giving her a share, got her into conversation, removed her ear jewelery and mangalsutra, took twenty-five hundred rupees and ran away making noise among themselves.

In these cases, cases were registered in Bhaluani, Khukhundu, Salempur and Barhaj police stations. Many cases are registered against the arrested accused in different police stations.
