General Manager of North Eastern Railway, Uday Borvankar, on Friday conducted a thorough inspection of the Gorakhpur-Anandnagar-Badhani-Gonda railway line, construction works and passenger facilities. During this, he said that all the development works including construction of overbridge at Nakaha railway crossing, Anand Nagar and Badhni Amrit Bharat station should be completed on time with quality.
He directed to improve the punctuality of trains. Along with laying emphasis on the level of passenger facilities, safety and security, necessary directions were given to the concerned authorities. Conducted safety inspection of track ballast, overhead traction, alignment, caution order and track fitting, station building, points and crossings, signals, curves and bridges on the railway section. Gave important suggestions to increase the efficiency of Railways.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, the General Manager inspected the passenger facilities available at Nakaha Jungle station, panel room, relay room, circulating area and the under construction overpass on level crossing number five special. Observed the ongoing station redevelopment works and modernization of passenger facilities under Amrit Bharat Yojana at Anandnagar Railway Station.
The General Manager inspected the circulating area, beautification of the station building, modernization and expansion of passenger facilities at Siddharth Nagar Railway Station. Inspected the ongoing redevelopment works at Badhni Railway Station under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Inspected Station Superintendent's Office, Panel Room, Station Working Rule, Relay Room, Point and Crossing and development works and passenger facilities at Badhni and Tulsipur stations.
