Ghaziabad Police Tightens Its Grip On Crime, 91 Criminals Arrested In 52 Encounters This Year Jagran Correspondent, Ghaziabad. The City Zone Of Police Commissionerate Has Taken Major Action Regarding Crime Control In The Year 2025. There Were 52 Police Encounters In The City Zone Area, In Which 91 Accused Were Arrested. Vijayanagar Police Has Caught Most Of The Criminals. Police Officials Say That This Action Was Taken To Ensure The Safety, Trust And Crime-free Environment Of The Common Citizens.

According to the police, eight miscreants were arrested in Kotwali, 20 miscreants in 12 encounters in Vijayanagar, eight miscreants in Sihani Gate, five miscreants in Nandgram, 17 miscreants in Kavinagar, nine miscreants in Madhuban Bapudham, 14 miscreants in Crossing Republic and Wave City police station arrested 10 miscreants in the encounter.

Cases of 129 robberies and snatchings, 14 cases of vandalism, 33 cases of theft, 54 vehicle thefts and 30 other thefts were registered against the arrested miscreants in the city zone area. Police claim that habitual criminals were identified and action was taken on the basis of prior records and local information, which resulted in effective prevention of criminal activities.

Our goal is to create fear among criminals and prevent them from committing crimes. The performance of the team is being reviewed and the policemen doing commendable work will be honored and rewarded. The crime control strategy will be further strengthened in 2026 also.
