GMDA's Big Step In New Gurugram, Roads Will Be Strengthened Along Dwarka Expressway; This Work Will Be Done For The First Time

Jagran correspondent, Gurugram. Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has started preparations to strengthen road facilities in several sectors of New Gurugram. For the first time, GMDA will create more service lanes on main roads in sectors along the Dwarka Expressway. This will benefit the surrounding residential areas.

GMDA Executive Engineer Shekhar Nandal said that a service road will be built on the dividing road between Sectors 106 and 109, which will provide easy traffic to local residents and commuters.

Apart from this, the dividing road between Sectors 99 and 102 will be upgraded. According to officials, in view of the increasing traffic on this route, the quality and width of the road will be improved to reduce traffic jams.

Re-carpeting will be done on the dividing road

Re-carpeting is also proposed on the dividing road between Sectors 110A and 111. Under this project, new road surface will be laid, along with green belt and footpaths will also be created. This will not only increase the strength of the road, but will also enhance the beauty of the area and ensure safety of pedestrians.

Main road will be built at a cost of Rs 9 crore

The main road of Sector 114 Outer will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 9 crore. This road will lead to rapid development of the area and will provide better connectivity to nearby societies. According to GMDA officials, the tender process has been started for all these projects. After receiving the tender, the work will start within the stipulated time.
