Digital Desk, Samastipur. Samastipur New Road: In an important initiative in the field of infrastructure for Samastipur district, the proposed road construction from Manika (SH-88) to Vikrampur (NH-322) has received administrative approval.

This path will connect to Sarayaranjan Bypass via Shriram Janaki Medical College, Narghoghi, which will provide new impetus to regional traffic.

This approval has been given by the Road Construction Department of Bihar Government. The department has shared information about this important project through its official X (formerly Twitter) post. This road will be developed under Road Division, Rosra.

According to the Road Construction Department, the total length of this route will be 8.250 kilometers. ₹4230.87 lakh will be spent on its construction.

After administrative approval, it is expected that the construction work will start soon after completing the tender process.

The construction of the road will not only establish direct and easy connectivity between Manika and Vikrampur, but will also ease the access of patients and medical staff to Shri Ram Janaki Medical College.

Also, due to the connection with Sarayaranjan Bypass, passengers going towards Samastipur, Darbhanga and surrounding districts will get relief from jams and unnecessary detours.

Local resident Mohan Chaudhary says that the construction of this path will strengthen education, health services and business activities in the area. He told that people were demanding this road for a long time, which now seems to be completed.

The Road Construction Department has reiterated that its aim is to develop a sustainable, strong and safe road network, so that the common citizens can get better, safe and convenient transportation facilities.
