A 17-year-old girl, resident of a village in Sadar Kotwali area, was complaining of stomach ache. Despite being pregnant, she herself was talking about having stomach ache due to gas. She along with her father had taken her to the emergency ward of the district hospital for the treatment of stomach ache. On reaching the hospital, the girl suddenly started labor pain, upon which she expressed her desire to go to the toilet.

The girl gave birth to a newborn baby inside the toilet itself. During this time, the father present outside heard the sound of the child crying from inside. The nursing staff was informed about this. The girl was shifted to the Women's District Hospital, where she has been admitted.

At the same time, considering the critical condition of the premature newborn, he has been kept in the NICU ward of the women's hospital. He is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. After this entire incident, various types of discussions are going on in the hospital premises. However, till now no allegation has been made by the victim side against anyone in this matter nor has any information been given to the police.

Hiding a thing due to fear of public shame

There is a rumor that the girl was pregnant, but due to public shame and social fear, the family did not come to know about it or they kept it suppressed. On reaching the hospital, when the matter reached the point of delivery, the reality came to light. At present the relatives are hesitant in saying anything.

At the same time, CMS Rajesh Kumar of the Women's Hospital said that information about the birth was received in the toilet of the emergency ward. The girl was admitted after reaching the spot. The newborn has been kept in SNCU. The condition of both is stable.
