Jagran correspondent, Azamgarh. On the instructions of National Legal Services Authority (New Delhi) and State Legal Services Authority (Lucknow), a mega legal aid and service camp was organized under the chairmanship of District Judge Jaiprakash Pandey in the District Legal Services Authority premises. The camp was inaugurated by the District Judge by offering flowers on the picture of Mother Saraswati and lighting a lamp in front of it.

In the camp, 690 beneficiaries of various schemes were provided pension certificates to destitute women, checks to women beneficiaries of Janani Suraksha Yojana and checks to beneficiaries of bank linked schemes.

Along with this, keys of houses built by DUDA were given to 12 beneficiaries under the PM Swamvaat Yojana, certificates were given to 26 beneficiaries from the Women and Child Welfare Department, tricycles and other equipment were given to 45 disabled people.

The District Judge welcomed the disabled by garlanding them. Under the ODOP scheme, the products of Black Patri as well as the silk of Mubarakpur were distributed to the beneficiaries.

Addressing the beneficiaries on this occasion, the District Judge said that the objective of the Mega Camp is to ensure that the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the government reach all the eligible persons. The District Judge also inspected the stalls in the camp.

Secretary District Legal Services Authority Nitika Rajan said that this camp has been organized with the cooperation of the administration. There are 34 stalls of various departments here.

Beneficiaries have been selected by various departments through mini camps at district, tehsil and block level, who are being benefited in the camp. Judicial officers went to the camp organized by the Health Department and got their blood pressure and sugar checked.

Mukesh Kumar Singh-I (Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal), ADJ Kamalapati, ADJ Vijay Kumar Verma, Ajay Srivastava, Santosh Kumar Yadav, Sandeepa Yadav, Chief Judicial Magistrate Satyaveer Singh, Civil Judge Niharika Yadav, Akshat Sonkar were present.
