Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate Khajanchi flyover and Bargadwa rail overbridge on Tuesday. With this, the problem of traffic jam in Khazanchi and Bargadwa areas will be solved. Earlier, the Chief Minister had inaugurated the Gorakhnath Rail Overbridge on 19 December.
Under the Yogi government, Gorakhpur, covered with four-lane roads in the outer and inner parts, is going to present a new example of road connectivity. To further improve the ease of transportation in the city, a new rail overbridge (at Bargadwa) and a new flyover (Khajanchi Square) have been completed. The cost is Rs 248.69 crore.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate the railway overbridge on level crossing number 5A between Nakaha Jungle-Maniram stations on Jail Road from Bargadwa intersection. Its construction has cost Rs 152.19 crore. From the inauguration site of Bargadwa, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the flyover built at a cost of Rs 96.50 crore at Khajanchi Square.
The 1092 meter long Bargadwa Overbridge will provide relief to the people from the traffic jam at the railway level crossing and will further improve the ease of traffic in the northern part of the metropolis. Apart from this, the journey of passengers going to Maharajganj via Medical College will also be easier.
The 605 meter long Khazanchi flyover gives direct connectivity to the Jail Bypass with Sports College Road. With this flyover, it will be easy and convenient to go from Kauwabagh to Fertilizer Factory, Sonauli Road via Khazanchi Square.
