State Bureau, Patna. The government will develop a strong information system by connecting Jeevika Didis with WhatsApp groups and other social media mediums. The goal is that any information related to production and sale from city to village and from village to city should reach the Jeevika Didis immediately.

Principal Secretary of Rural Development Department, Pankaj Kumar gave these instructions in the departmental review meeting on Friday. During the review in the departmental auditorium located at the Chief Secretariat, Pankaj said that the products manufactured in Bihar will be available in other states and foreign countries also.

Officials of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Lohia Swachh Bihar Mission (LSBA), Jal Jeevan Hariyali, VB Ji Ram Ji etc. participated in the meeting along with Jeevika CEO Himanshu Sharma. Jeevika CEO Himanshu said that the government has taken many initiatives to connect women with employment in rural areas.

One crore 56 lakh Jeevika Didis have been given assistance to start employment. After reviewing the employment, they are to be given another two lakh rupees in future, so that their employment increases further. He gave detailed information about the schemes of Jeevika Group and economic empowerment of women.

Mainly, detailed information was given on the topics of connecting women with dairy industry, promoting animal husbandry in villages, providing loans from banks to women willing for employment, conservation and promotion of wells, ponds and ponds in Jal Jeevan Mission, plantation, increasing honorarium for sanitation workers and connecting Jeevika Didis with groups, etc.
