Bulldozers run over illegal colonies in Assandh, hotels and hospitals sealed.
Jagran correspondent, Karnal. The district administration took strict action against illegal colonies and construction in Assandh area on Tuesday. The team of District Town Planner (DTP) Karnal demolished three illegal colonies and three illegal constructions in the presence of police force and duty magistrate.
The first action was taken in the illegal colony developed in half an acre located behind the tehsil on Assandh Bypass Road, where all the DPCs (Plinth Level) were destroyed. The second colony was being developed on about two acres near Dera Gujriya, there also the DPC was demolished.
The third illegal colony was cut in about 12 acres in Dhol Chowk area, where unpaved roads were uprooted with JCBs. Apart from this, an illegal warehouse located on Jind Road was sealed and its boundary wall was demolished. A hotel and hospital in Jaisinghpura on Assandh-Karnal road were sealed and their boundary walls and floors were demolished.
