Sports Desk, New Delhi. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya rained heavily in the 5th T20 match against South Africa. Hardik scored a half-century in 16 balls. He batted at a strike rate of 252.00 and scored 63 runs in 25 balls. In this destructive innings, Hardik hit 5 fours and as many sixes. Not only this, he also achieved 1 success by giving 41 runs in 3 overs.

Hardik has become the Indian batsman to score the second fastest half-century in T20 International. Yuvraj Singh is on the top of this list. Yuvraj scored a fifty in 12 balls against England in the T20 World Cup 2007.

However, Pandya has broken another record of Yuvraj. He has become the Indian to score most 50 runs and take 1 or more wickets in T20 International matches. Pandya has done this feat 4 times so far. Yuvraj had done this thrice in his career.

Hardik Pandya dominated not only on the field but also outside the field. During the match, a cameraman standing on the other side of the boundary line was injured by a six hit by Hardik. In such a situation, Golden Heart Hardik immediately went to the cameraman after the match ended and asked about his well being. Not only this, Hardik also hugged the cameraman and applied an icepack on his shoulder. BCCI has shared the video of this entire incident on YouTube.
