Jagran correspondent, Hisar. A student doing PhD in the Biotechnology Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) has made serious allegations of molestation against two assistant professors of the university.
As soon as the complaint was received, the university administration took immediate action and suspended both the accused assistant professors Ajeev Sangwan and Naveen Kaushik. The student alleged that she was being harassed for a long time and objectionable messages were also sent through WhatsApp.
The student first met the Dean of Biotechnology Department, Prof. Complained about this to KD Sharma, but as no concrete action was taken, she directly met the Vice Chancellor (VC) and narrated her ordeal. Taking the complaint seriously, the Vice Chancellor immediately suspended both the accused assistant professors and constituted an inquiry committee to investigate the matter impartially.

All the facts related to the complaint are being investigated by the committee, in which CCTV footage is also being scrutinized. After completion of the investigation, the committee will submit its report to the university administration. After the matter came to light, it was discussed in the entire university campus. It is being told that the accused Assistant Professor Ajeev has also been an alumnus of this university.

When an attempt was made to talk to accused Ajeev in this regard, he neither received the call nor responded to the message. At the same time, the number of the second accused could not be found from anyone. University administration spokesperson said that as soon as the student's complaint was received, both Assistant Professors Ajeev Sangwan and Naveen Kaushik have been suspended to ensure a fair investigation. An investigation committee has been formed for further action. Based on the investigation report, action will be taken as per rules.
