Jagran correspondent, Nainital. The High Court, while hearing the case to stay the arrest of Kulwinder Singh and others accused in the suicide case of a farmer in Haldwani, has asked the state government to clarify the situation. The hearing in the case will now take place on Friday.
Six accused including Kulwinder Singh filed a petition saying that they have nothing to do with the Sukhwant Singh suicide case. Both the parties have been doing property dealing. He never induced suicide. He has been wrongly implicated.
It is noteworthy that farmer Sukhwant Singh had made a video before committing suicide and accused the police of colluding with the opposition. After which the police registered a case against 26 people including Sukhwinder. The hearing in the case took place in a single bench of winter vacation judge Justice Ashish Naithani.
