Jagran correspondent, Ambala. In the second week of February, the weather of the district seems to be moving from cold to mild warmth. The maximum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 25.4 degrees Celsius, which was four degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.4 degrees Celsius, which was one degree above normal. This increase in temperature has clearly indicated that the phase of farewell to winter has begun. The day, however, started with humidity. Relative humidity was recorded at 95 percent at 8:30 am, due to which there was a feeling of slight coolness and humidity. But as the day progressed, the sun shone and by evening the humidity reduced to 56 percent. Due to this, people felt slight heat in the afternoon. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Ambala is likely to remain dry and clear for the coming week.
From February 10 to February 16, the sky will be mainly clear and the maximum temperature will remain between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is also expected to be around 10 to 11 degrees. There is no possibility of rain during this period.
Due to this, there will be slight cold in the morning and evening, while the sunlight will increase during the day. The effect of this pattern of weather is also visible on life. People are still seen wearing warm clothes in the morning, but by afternoon they have started taking off their jackets and sweaters.
The markets and parks are also becoming more lively during the day. Sunset on Tuesday occurred at 6:06 pm, while sunrise on Wednesday will be at 7:08 am. The moon will rise at 1:26 pm and set at 11:41 am. Overall, the weather of Ambala is expected to remain stable and pleasant in this week of February.
