Jagran correspondent, Jammu. Due to continuous dry weather in Jammu and other plain areas of the state, the feeling of heat during the day has increased.
Even in the valley, the maximum temperature in most of the districts is 8 to 12 degrees above normal. This has caused a huge rise in temperatures in areas that are generally cold.
According to Meteorological Center Srinagar, there is no possibility of major changes in the weather till the end of February. Meanwhile, the weather remained clear in the state on Sunday.
The day temperature in the capital Srinagar was 20.7 degrees Celsius, 9.7 degrees above normal, 17.5 in Pahalgam, 10.0 in Gulmarg, 25.0 in Jammu and 24.0 degrees Celsius in Katra.
However, the night is still cool. The minimum temperature was minus 1.2 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam, 0.0 in Gulmarg, 1.7 in Srinagar and 3.4 degrees Celsius in Bhaderwah.
