A massive explosion took place against the wall of the police station at around 9.15 am on New Year's morning in Nalagarh of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The sound of the explosion created chaos in the area. In this incident, the glass panes of the police station building, ECHS polyclinic and market committee building were broken. The walls have also been damaged.
There is an atmosphere of panic among the people after this blast. The police are investigating the matter thoroughly.
Police sealed the incident site
As soon as the information was received, the police immediately sealed the incident spot and started investigation. Initially the reasons for the blast are being investigated. Police are investigating whether this incident is the result of someone's mischief or there is some conspiracy behind it.
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, senior police officers have also reached the spot. Security has been increased in the surrounding area and the matter is being investigated from every aspect. Police say that the situation regarding the reasons for the blast will become clear only after the investigation is completed.

It is being told that there are private and government buildings around the police station. The walls and glass of the military rest house located nearby have been badly damaged. The police have barricaded and sealed the entire area.

What does the Superintendent of Police say?
SP Baddi Vinod Dhiman says that only the FSL report will reveal the true cause of the blast. There was no loss of life in the accident, although some parts of the police personnel's quarters and the army canteen were damaged.
The SP has also warned scrap dealers not to keep such dangerous materials which may cause loss of life and property. The police is investigating from every angle, so that the root can be reached. The reasons are unknown at the moment, but the investigation is going on rapidly.
