State Bureau, Shimla. The schedule of Himachal Pradesh Cabinet meeting has been decided. The proposed zip line near Dharamshala and Taradevi-Shimla ropeway will go for approval in the state cabinet meeting. The proposal to build a two kilometer long zip line has come from a company. Taradevi-Shimla Ropeway has not been approved through a single tender. In such a situation, a proposal will also come to approve this ropeway case. A policy proposal will also come regarding senior resident doctors to be appointed in medical colleges. The zip line and Taradevi-Shimla rope-way proposal is being brought for approval in the cabinet meeting scheduled on January 19 at 11 am. The General Administration Department has informed all the government departments regarding the cabinet meeting.

There is a plan by the government to encourage adventure tourism activities in the state. In the cabinet meeting, a presentation will be made by the Finance Department regarding the current financial situation of the state.

Big decision will be taken on Panchayat elections

There will also be discussion regarding Panchayat elections in the cabinet meeting. The High Court has ordered to hold elections before April 30. At the same time, the Election Commission has also called an important meeting with the officials on January 20. A day before this meeting, a big decision regarding Panchayat elections can be taken in the Cabinet.

The Chief Minister is going to meet the Union Finance Minister and others.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is visiting Delhi on Wednesday morning. It is being told that during the Delhi visit, the Chief Minister may meet Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as well as many other Union Ministers. Will demand special financial assistance package as well as increase in the existing loan limit. Will also urge for early release of the package of Rs 1500 crore announced by the Prime Minister. Apart from this, we will demand to increase the import duty on apples coming from New Zealand to 100 percent. Will meet the Union Commerce Minister in this regard.
