Jagran correspondent, Kanpur Dehat. The teenager was murdered by slitting his throat in Kanpur Dehat. Two days later, the dance teacher accused of murder was caught by the police. He cited blackmail for homosexual relations as the reason for the murder.
17 year old Saurabh Pal was living with his sister in Jhinjhak Porwal street. Anup, the dance teacher of the regional school, also lived there on rent. He had called Saurabh and slit his throat with a knife and ran away.
Police caught the accused from near Bhola Nagar. Murder accused Anoop Kumar told during interrogation that he had a relationship with a teenager. Saurabh came to know about this. He used to extort money from her by threatening her, even on the day of the incident he had taken Rs 5,000. He became upset with the continuously increasing demands and threats, due to which he committed the incident. Called him, slit his throat with a knife and ran away. Police have recovered the knife at the behest of Anoop. Inspector Mangalpur Mahesh Dubey said that the murder accused has been sent to jail.
