Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. There was a head-on collision between two bikes at 12 o'clock on Sunday night on the service road of NH 9 of Kavinagar police station area. Two people died in the accident. While two people including a woman were seriously injured. The police have conducted post-mortem of the deceased. The injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. This accident happened due to riding the bike in the opposite direction. The bike riders were not wearing helmets. Rahisuddin, a resident of Dasna, was going from Delhi to Dasna on a Splendor bike with a woman. Near Tanushree Grand Society, there was a collision with an Avenger bike coming from the opposite direction at 12 o'clock in the night. Aman and Vipin, residents of Nepal, were riding on the Avenger bike.
Visibility was low due to fog
All four people riding on both the bikes were injured in the accident. The collision was so severe that the front parts of both the bikes were blown to pieces. When the accident occurred, visibility on the road was low due to fog. As soon as the accident happened, local people ran to help. This information was given to the police.
The police took all the injured to Manipal Hospital. Doctors declared 25-year-old Aman and 38-year-old Rahisuddin dead. Due to the condition of injured Vipin being critical, he was referred to GTB Hospital in Delhi. The injured woman is undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital.
The injured woman has been identified as Baby, resident of Dudhala district, Ballia Ghazipur. Rahisuddin was returning home late night from Delhi with the woman. Aman was posted as a manager in a restaurant. Both of them lived in a rented room in Land Craft Society. Rahisuddin used to sell vegetables.

None of the four bike riders were wearing a helmet. Police say that if the biker had been wearing a helmet, his life could have been saved. The speed of the bikes was high. The bike in the opposite direction was not visible in the fog. Suddenly the brakes did not apply when the bike came in front.
