A woman died in a collision between a truck and an e-rickshaw near Astipur under Hajipur Lalganj main road Sadar police station area, while three persons including her husband were injured. On receiving information about the accident, passersby and nearby people gathered.
Information about the incident was given to Sadar police station and Dial 112 police. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and immediately took everyone to Sadar Hospital. The doctor declared a woman dead after examination.
The deceased woman was identified as Pratima Devi, 45, wife of Sanjeev Kumar Singh, resident of Shrirampur village of Sadar police station area. The injured in the accident were Meera Devi, wife of Shrirampur resident Sanjeev Kumar Singh Upendra Singh and an e-rickshaw driver. All the injured were given first aid by doctors at Sadar Hospital.
Regarding the incident, it has been told that Sanjeev Kumar Singh had gone to his sister's house for the house warming ceremony with the entire family. After getting down from the train at Hajipur Junction, they were going to their home by riding an e-rickshaw. During this time an uncontrolled truck hit. In which everyone got seriously injured when the e-rickshaw overturned.
Police reached the spot after getting information and brought everyone to Sadar Hospital. The doctor declared the woman dead after examination. The condition of the injured driver is said to be critical. Information about the incident has been given to the family members of the deceased. Police is busy in paperwork for post mortem. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos in the village. Relatives are in bad condition due to crying.
In this regard, Sadar Police Station President Mukesh Kumar said that as soon as information about the road accident was received, all the injured reached the spot and were taken to Sadar Hospital. The doctor declared a woman dead.
