Girl ate poison (symbolic picture)
Digital Desk, Indore. A young woman, who was cheated while trying to buy a plot cheaply, attempted suicide on Wednesday after being hurt by the alleged negligence of the police. The girl consumed poisonous substance in front of Bhagirathpura post. At present his condition is said to be out of danger.
Tanisha, a resident of Kumharkhadi (Banganga), had made a deal to buy a plot from a person named Manish Dhargunde in December 2025. It is alleged that Manish took Rs 2 lakh in cash from him, but neither gave him the plot nor returned the amount.
Had come to give statement, took step as soon as she came out
After not getting the plot, Tanisha had lodged a complaint with the police. On Wednesday, head constable Kuldeep called him to the police station for his statement. About 10 other people also arrived with Tanisha, who are said to be victims of fraud by the same person.
As soon as Tanisha came out of the post after giving the statement, she consumed poisonous substance. Her fiance Piyush alleged that the police did not take any concrete action in the case and did not show strictness against the accused.
The victim says that along with Manish, his wife Reena and associate Sandeep are also involved in the fraud.

Accusations of insensitivity on the police
The family members alleged that the policemen questioned Tanisha as to why she bought the plot without investigation. Due to this she became mentally more hurt.
It is being told that Manish had taken money from many people by claiming to have a plot in 'Radha Ka Bagicha' area, whereas later it came to light that the concerned land was not in his name. It is alleged that he also duped people into getting loans.
Investigation ongoing, action claimed
TI Siyaram Singh Gurjar said that investigation was already going on against Manish. The process of registering a case against the accused has been started by recording the statements of the victims.
