Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. The problem of air pollution in Delhi remains serious, efforts are being made by the government and administration to improve it, but they are inadequate. Jagran's investigation found many roads and places promoting air pollution.

The promise of regularly cleaning the roads and repairing them and making them pollution free is not being fulfilled. Similarly, standards are also being ignored while laying sewer lines. Demolition and construction waste (C&D) is being dumped everywhere. Dust is flying in the parks also due to lack of better maintenance.

During investigation, Asaf Ali Road was found broken at many places, due to which vehicles were found hitchhiking. Also dust was found flying from it. This situation was seen at many places from Kamla Market to Delhi Gate.

Similarly, construction work of drain is going on on the main road near the bus stand in Malka Ganj, but the standards related to air pollution are not being followed. Therefore, a cloud of dust keeps flying on the road up to about 200 meters. This cloud is increasing further when the vehicle passes at high speed.

There is a ban on dumping C&D and other types of debris on the road, but there are heaps of garbage and debris spread everywhere on the road leading to the club in Roshanara Bagh. Who is coming on the road.

There is a park near the road, most of which is empty ground with no grass. Dust is flying from it with the wind. There is no arrangement for pouring water to prevent dust. The link road from Ring Road to ITO is broken at many places. The debris is not lying here. Whereas, there is a board for not dumping debris there.
