A foreign tourist here has alleged that a woman and her friend were molested during the first concert of American rapper Post Malone on Monday. They were touched inappropriately without their consent. However, in this entire matter the police have contacted the victim and asked for more information, but no response has been received yet.
Actually, the woman who identified herself as a backpacking blogger shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday. In this, the woman claimed that she and her friend were targeted in a crowded place.
Police took cognizance of the matter
Regarding this incident, Guwahati's Joint Police Commissioner Ankur Jain said on Thursday that after watching the Instagram reel related to the incident, we immediately sent messages to both the women on their X accounts asking for more information about the incident. He said that no response has been received from the woman yet.
Police officer says that she (woman) has accused him of harassment at the concert. The officer claimed that adequate police officers were present at the concert venue. During investigation, it was found that no other complaint was lodged by any other woman or girl.
The officer claimed that women's safety is the top priority. He said that Guwahati Police keeps the safety of women on top, in which no compromise can be made.
The woman released the video and made many allegations

Things went haywire very quickly at Post Malone's concert in Guwahati last night. Two women present in the crowd were touched inappropriately. He said in the video that no matter how big a program is, the safety of women should be kept in mind.
It is noteworthy that the police has shown seriousness in this entire matter and has tried to contact the woman. However, no response has been received from the woman yet. Police say that further action will be taken as soon as the reply is received.
