Jagran correspondent, Agra. Tourists who have been dreaming of night tourism attraction near Taj Mahal for years can get a big attraction at the end of the year. Tata Projects has set the target of completing the work of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum building being constructed by the Tourism Department by December. 14 galleries will be built in the museum, which will showcase the bravery of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the culture of Braj and the ancient art of warfare.

The work of Mughal Museum started in January 2016 in 5.9 acres of land of the cemented pole factory of the Electricity Department near Shilpgram. In September 2020, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath changed its name to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum. Work here was halted for five and a half years and could resume only in June 2025. Tata Projects has sought time by setting a target to complete the construction of the museum building by December 2026.

On the other hand, the Culture Department has started work on the exhibits to be displayed in the museum. 14 galleries will be built in the museum, for which a presentation has also been made before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Interactive technology, virtual reality, sound and light show and digital archives will be used in the galleries. Regional Tourism Officer Shakti Singh said that Tata Projects has asked for time till December to complete the work of the museum. Work has started on the items to be displayed here and the galleries to be built.
Geeta Govind Vatika is ready
Under the Chief Minister Tourism Partnership Scheme, Geeta Govind Vatika has been completed in the zonal park located in Tajnagari Phase-II. In this, the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Shri Krishna carrying Govardhan, conch of Pandavas and other sculptures have been installed. Tulsi garden has been created in one acre of land. Every evening there will be a sound and light show based on the pastimes of Shri Krishna. ADA Vice President M. Arunmoli said that Geeta Govind Vatika is ready. It will be inaugurated soon.
