Digital Desk, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the people of the country today in the 130th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat'. This year, this was PM Modi's first 'Mann Ki Baat' program, during which he wished the countrymen on National Voters' Day.

Addressing the people in 'Mann Ki Baat', Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "This is the first 'Mann Ki Baat' of 2026. Tomorrow on January 26, we will celebrate Republic Day. Our Constitution came into force on this day. The festival of January 26 provides us an opportunity to pay tribute to the makers of our Constitution."

Speaking on National Voters' Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said-

Today, 25th January, is also very important. Today is National Voters Day. Voters are the soul of democracy. Whenever a youth becomes a voter for the first time, the entire locality, village or city should come together to congratulate him and sweets should be distributed. This will increase awareness among people about voting. Register yourself as a voter after turning 18 years old.

PM Modi further said, "Today, India has become the third largest startup eco-system in the world. The heroes of this amazing journey of Startup India are our young friends. The innovations they made by going out of their comfort zone are being recorded in history.

PM Modi said, "Artificial Intelligence, Space, Nuclear Energy, Semiconductor, Green Hydrogen and Biotechnology... you name it and some Indian Startup will be seen working in that sector."

Tamil schools open in Malaysia

In the program 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi said, our Indian community in Malaysia is doing very commendable work. There are more than 500 Tamil schools in Malaysia. In these, along with the study of Tamil language, other subjects are also taught in Tamil. Apart from this, there is also a lot of focus on other Indian languages ​​including Telugu and Punjabi.
